I hate driving in the snow!!

I have so much to write about! I can't believe how time just flew by and I didn't even write about my days. And how easy it was to forget! Makes me sad, but I will catch up tonight and tomorrow! Our kids are just so cute and say the funniest things, that I just have to keep writing in our journal. It's for Isaac and me anyway.... and I never want to forget! :)
But for now, I just have to say. Driving to work in the snow is no fun! I hate it. Seriously, my heart beats fast and pounds hard for the 30-40 minutes it takes me to get there in the snow. My knuckles go white and I am just scared to death. I HATE driving in the snow. I seriously am praying non stop. Well, we can not find the keys to the impala. And I can't drive the Durango, bc Isaac needs to take the girls back and forth to school and I would prefer him not in the freezing snow. So, that leaves Isaac's truck. It wouldn't be bad, except that his 4 wheel drive isn't working! A truck without 4 wheel drive!?! It bugs me a little, but then I'm the one who lost the keys, so I can't point the blame anywhere. I need to find the keys and the truck needs to be fixed. So, needless to say, the drive is extra scary and cautious.
This morning a car had slid off the side of the cliff. It is one of my biggest fears driving to work through that canyon in the snow, is that I will slide off the cliff. The tow trucks line was all the way down there and you could tell it was going to be a long process. It scared me and made me sad for that driver, who I would imagine was probably terrified! I admit, during the summer, I can be a speed demon, but during the winter, I am always the slowest driver on the road. NO JOKE! Always. I am the grandma that everyone is passing, even the semis.
Anyway, I don't know why I am writing this. Not to scare anyone. But, I have to say. This morning, I was praying so hard. The truck slide a little hear and there through Jordanelle. I was scared out of my mind. But I feel like the Spirit was with me. Don't pass this car, go that way, get in that lane. I really did. As silly as it sounds, I am truly thankful that our prayers are answered and listened too! I was still terrified, and anything could have happened, but I knew I was being protected. I am not looking forward to the drive home, but I will take it slow...and pray! I am thankful for my blessings and that I got to work safely. This is such a silly post, but I just had to write about it. I have been thinking about my drive in all morning. I am a FL driver. There is no deny about it! I hate the snow...but when 5 comes, Pray! :)

Pumpkin carving

Monday Isaac went and got big pumpkins for us to CARVE!!!! When I got home we cleaned them all out! The girls had fun sticking their hands in there. Isaac was telling them it was lamb brains or something. Then we just said it was pumpkins brains but it was really funny. They were just eating it up. They love getting all gooey! Well, after dinner, gooeyness, and baths, we didn't have enough time to carve them, so on Tuesday, while I was at work, Isaac did it with the girls himself!! He is such a great dad! He said McKenna and Ashley pretty much carved their pumpkins themselves. They rock! He had so much fun and spent all day carving four pumpkins! I will have to post pictures later... as always. I am getting in a habit of saying that, I need to actually do it! :( Anyway, here is one picture he sent me while I was at work. It is so cute! They are all just smiling so sweet! We took one with Thomas in it too when we were cleaning them out, but he was just too busy being a one year old!! :) Excuse the mess in the background... that is just what happens when I go to work 3 days in a row. :)

Here are our pictures!!
This is how our chalkboard pumpkins turned out. They were so cute! The girls had SO much fun coloring on them. ...and so did I! :)

Repeat, Repeat, Repeat

So, I have noticed our lives kind-of repeat themselves week after week. But just as I take pictures of the same thing over and over again, each one is different to me, as each day is different. So, much like I love my pictures and can't stop taking them... I won't stop writing in our journal. Each day is too special not to write about. :)
So, much like every week, Sunday wasn't very different. But...it was to me. :) Isaac was sick all day so he didn't go to church with us. :( I was totally bummed by it. I only get him every other week, so for him to miss church this past Sunday really was irritating...but he was a sick boy. Church was a hassle. It was one of those Sunday's when you wondered why you were even there. But I know it was better than sitting at home. Just giving myself the opportunity to feel of the spirit, and letting my children feel that or learn of Jesus Christ is worth it! The kids were just rowdy during Sacrament meeting. I was getting really frustrated. I think I just feel so embarrassed....but I shouldn't, they are just children. Anyway, THOMAS was my hassle! My sweet little perfect calm cuddly baby was my handful! He was just all over the place. I didn't know what to do! It was definitely just...one of those days!
On Saturday Ryan asked what we were doing for dinner. We didn't have anything planned, but we wanted him and Brianne up for dinner anyway, bc they are going to FL on Th and we won't be able to see them. So jealous, but so excited for them! Will and Anne are flying in from Chi town and Scott, Sherrie and Luke are flying in from WA. I have never even met Luke before! :( They are going to have a great weekend with my Dad, Mom, Kellie and Bonnie! Five of the siblings!! I miss my family!
Anyway, I called Bev and both of us had chili frozen in the freezer. We decided to just eat that, she made rolls, we all ended up bringing dessert this time and we just had a great night! I called Isaac from Bev's house and was able to get him to come up later to atleast eat something. It was good to have him there for a little while. :) As always the kids had so much fun! Playing outside
and Bev has!!!! drum roll!! How to Train Your Dragon!! So, the kids had so much fun watching the new movie!! And then made a mess of the downstairs! But, we did get it all cleaned up before we left! Funday Sunday!

Work day

Yesterday I worked and then went straight to a meeting afterwards, so I didn't get to see my kids all day. :( When I got home I of course kissed each of them goodnight while they were sleeping. Well, this morning, before I was going to leave for work again, I got to see and kiss and love all my little ones while they were eating breakfast. So, Ashley says, "Mom! Where were you last night!? McKenna missed you!" And I said, "You didn't miss me?" She paused for a second and then said, "No, McKenna did!" lol. After some persuading from Isaac she decided she missed me too, but it was pretty funny. She can be such a character! :) I love them! One more work day and then I am home for 4!!!! Yipee!
I'll write about the past few days later tonight!

Great times!

I am such a slacker. I cannot get myself to wake up the kids and get them fed and ready by a 9 o'clock work out class. Not just any one's, BEVERLY'S! I stink. :( I need to work out. I need to be better about getting to bed earlier and taking care of myself as well. And who wouldn't want to go to their sister's workout class. Ahh... next time. I hope I can do it! In my defense, I have not been feeling well at all. :(
The kids and I bought little pumpkins on Th night and I actually saw on this blog, http://little-inspirations.blogspot.com/2010/10/chalkboard-pumpkins.html that you could paint chalkboard paint on them and then color chalk on the pumpkins. So cute huh! (the author of that blog, Brittany Staley, her husband is my sister's husband's brother) :) So, on Friday morning, we painted our pumpkins with chalkboard paint. We did it while Thomas was sleeping, but the girls had so much fun! Our fingers were BLACK! We painted them in the road, so we had to carry them back up the garage. Ashley was trying to help me carry them and grabbed the whole thing. She was so sweet to try, but her hands were so black! We scrubbed for a while, but with no avail. It will come off eventually. :)
I cleaned a little and then had to get ready to go to work. I tried to think of an excuse why I couldn't go in. I felt awful, that should have been just enough, but I just didn't feel right calling in. I had told them I would be in so I had to own up to it.. So, after I fed the kids lunch I woke Isaac up to take over. Poor guy, never gets his sleep. I only worked a half day though and then we went to Kamie Jo Massey's wedding reception!! Bev and I played basketball with her at Snow College. And Isaac knew her of course as well. We had picked her up a few times from Payson to drive to Ephraim. We are so happy for her! She looked beautiful and they both just looked so happy! We found out from Mindy, (another girl we played ball with at Snow. Mindy and Kamie are BF) that they met in June. Very quick courtship, but we wouldn't really expect anything different from Kamie Jo anyway. The girls said they liked her husband Reed bc her gave them knuckles. lol, that is so funny, but I guess he was cool for it. He was a nice guy, so cute with all of our kids.
Saturday morning we went to Zachary's last football game. I felt like an awful aunt, bc I haven't been to one game yet, but I am at least glad we got to see this last one. He is really starting to become a great athlete! He was so fun to watch!
We had a great day. Our garden is all torn out, finally! This is what I pulled out from it. I couldn't believe we had so much left. We probably had about 40 tomatoes still but they were all GREEN still! :( Next time I guess. We are learning. The girls room is SPOTLESS! Yay! Lots of cleaning, but the most fun thing. We got to color chalk on our pumpkins!! They loved it! I was actually really surprised how well it did work. It was so fun and the girls were so creative with their pictures. Again, poor little Thomas was asleep on this one. Sometimes the projects are just easier without our precious baby boy. But don't worry, I did make one for him too! :) They are all on display on our mantle. So cute!

Isaac and I got to go on a date tonight. But not just any date. We went to the temple with Ryan and Brianne!! Beverly was supposed to come with us but she had a family birthday party to attend. Totally understandable but we (I especially) were so bummed! She will come next time for sure. But anyway, it was such a great night! I love the temple. I love the little "reminders" we get in there. And I couldn't be more happier to be able to share those precious sacred moments with my husband. And I was really glad we could go with Ryan and Brianne too. They go once a month! Granted it is easier to go when you don't have any kids, but I think it is great they have those goals set out. Isaac and I definitely don't go often enough, but I will take what we can get! It was a beautiful night followed by a stop at Cold Stone for some much needed ice cream!! :)

Anna, my visiting teacher, took my kids tonight. She is always always offering to take my kids. And the last couple of months, she has challenged me to go to the temple. So, I took her up on both of those "challenges." :) They have one sweet girl Mia who is 2, a couple of months younger than Danielle...so, adding my FOUR, they definitely had their hands full! She and her husband Nate said they had a great time with the kids. They said they were a lot of fun! Thomas did cry she said... I knew he would. :( He just doesn't do well with people he doesn't know. He will scream for hours! But she said he only screamed for about 5-10 min after I left and then had a hard time going to bed, but said they were all really wonderful! When we got home, McKenna said they had a lot of fun and watched The Princess and the Frog and ate popcorn. She said they went on a walk too. I will talk to them tomorrow about it, but it sounds like they had a great time!
I am so thankful for the wonderful family and friends I have in my life. I love them all so much. I have the best families in the world!! And Anna. We may not be best friends, but she is the best visiting teacher a girl could ask for. I really truly love that girl with all my heart. She is fun to be around. I admire her, love her work ethic, am always learning new healthy tips from her. And not to mention, she is such a good example to me. They are a wonderful family.
Can't wait for church tomorrow!

Treasures :)

Today was a great day. This morning I met with a Lia Sophia advisor, Katie. She is great! I'm going to do it, I am going to sell Lia Sophia jewelry. If it works out, great...it can only help Isaac and I. If it doesn't, then I'll have lots of great jewelry! :)
Then we went to Tanna's and met Roni and Christy there with all the kids. Tanna had gone through every closet and room in her house. It was a wreck, but it was fun to rummage through all her "junk" and find some cute "treasures." :) Surprisingly, I didn't come home with too much stuff. I did better than I had thought I had done. Some clothes, a couple vases, and a few decorations. Oh, and a couple of mexican blankets. They reminded me of home. We always had those on vacations. So, I put those two mexican blankets right in the cars. People at work are ALWAYS telling me I need blankets and emergency supplies in the car. So, I felt good being able to start off with a blanket. :)
For lunch we took the kids to McDonald's. The worst service in the world. They messed up over and over again, messing up orders, missing orders, messing up those missed orders, forgetting a side... on and on. Roni even had to clean up her own spill...yes, they handed her the rag. It was so gross. It was really ridiculous. They were just awful! Tanna, Roni, and Christy were pretty bent. I don't get too upset or say much, but it was definitely the worst I had ever seen. The kids had fun though. They didn't skip a beat. Just playing and having a good time. We finished up at Tanna's and on the way home, I drove the girls and Thomas up Memorial Hill. It is so amazing up there. You can see everything! What a beautiful world the Lord has created for us. Heber Valley is just really beautiful to look at!
Isaac was up when we got home so it was nice to spend a little time with him before he was off to work again. Before he left, McKenna surprised us with pictures on the tramp. First, the picture on the right, if you can't read it, is a picture of Mom and McKenna. So sweet! and so cute. AND she wrote at the bottom, I LOVE MOM. Sigh, can you just see my heart melting. Then, she drew this one for Isaac. We thought it was so funny. Isaac had his hands on his hips, so those big ears you are thinking... no, those are his hands on his hips. hehe So cute! Then he has his work boots on and his big work belt with all his tools. That cloud looking thingy with a circle around it, that is his badge on his shoulder, and the other one is another badge on his chest, with his name badge on the other side. Then Samson is by his side. I just love this little imagination! So cute!
And not to be forgotten, in the meantime, Ashley and Danielle are inside playing house. Danielle will yell out, "Mom, Mom!" And I will come in and say "Yes?" And she'll says, "No, Ashey my Mommy." And then Ashley will come running and take care of her and then tell her what to do next. :P She calls her "kid." It is so cute. They are making "cupcakes" for me, playing with decorations. Having so much fun babying all of their teddy bears. Ashley got this HUGE one from Grandma's house today, so that was the baby they were taking care of. Feeding them, putting them to bed. After McKenna was done on the tramp, she too joined the "house" game. It is so cute to watch. And they are such great friends, really take care of each other!
We had a lot of fun today. Tonight we had a great dinner and took it to Isaac like always. ...it saves us money bc then he doesn't eat out as much!! :) We rented another Redbox, but this time we started it early enough that the girls were still in bed by 8:45p.. so not bad! Thomas went to bed before the movie started, he was a tired ....OVERLY tired little boy. :( When we got the movie and McKenna told Isaac, she said we got a movie from the RentBox. We both kind-of chuckled and I told her it was RedBox. She then just says... "RentBox, Redbox, Same thing!" hehe, she is so funny.
On a sad note. Ashley has these little yellow bears she sleeps with. We call them Zippy. She has been having a lot of accidents lately, so if she has an accident during the day, she can't sleep with her zippy's at night. Well.. she hasn't slept with them for a long time off and on... and at least for the last week straight! I thought she didn't care anymore and needed a new incentive. Tonight, our poor little Ashley finally broke down. BALLING! She wanted her zippy's! I couldn't break down though, NO! It is soo soo frustrating. She knows what she has to do to get those zippy's back. No accidents! That is our goal for tomorrow. I hate shutting the door when they're so sad... but I have hope for tomorrow! Go Ashley!

Riley Quinn

Congratulations Todd and Brenda! You have two beautiful girls!

Our beautiful lives

Life has gotten so crazy I haven't had a chance to write. I have had 3 busy crazy days at work, but good days!! Isaac has had a great time at home. He even got to go golfing with his friend Bryce and Bryce's dad on Monday. He really enjoyed himself.... especially since he got home from work at 6am Monday morning yet again, and didn't sleep until Monday night. Poor guy. But, Grandma Tanna had the kids while he golfed, so she was in charge of picking up McKenna and Ashley from school. I normally call Ashley's preschool when someone else is picking them up, but I didn't on Monday. I guess I just wasn't thinking and I didn't think it would be a problem. She has picked them up before...and she is on the list of approval names. Anyway, when Tanna got to the door, Ms. Melissa asked for some id. She wouldn't give her Ashley. :P hehe, that is so funny. So when she got back to the car, McKenna of course asked where Ashley was and Grandma told her she needed her id. So, McKenna just stands up and says, "I'll go talk to her!" lol, she is awesome! That is just classic. So funny.
Needless to say, when I got home on Monday Isaac went straight to bed, but the kids and I had a great night. Talking over dinner, reading books. Life doesn't get any better. Although Danielle did throw a big fit. I can't remember why. But anyway, the sweetest thing happened! Danielle was on the floor just completely screaming and crying. Thomas, out of no where, just comes up, and wraps his body and arms around her and gives her this big hug. She started smiling and it was the sweetest thing I had ever seen. He is such a sweet boy and will be such a great compassionate brother!!
Tuesday night was a lot of fun. When I got home Danielle and McKenna were sleeping, (that NEVER happens by the way, it was a miracle) So, Ashley and I got to play cards, just the two of us for about 10 minutes. It was fun. She is a sweetheart. After dinner, we made caramel apples, played games and even got Isaac to dance with us. It was so fun! I love our little family.
Tonight Isaac had to work after I got home, but the kids and I had fun. Leftovers are usually on our agenda on Wed, since Isaac and I just "swap" work schedules. But we took him some anyway. We played the matching game again and read a couple books WHILE we watched Dinosaur Train. :) Then tonight when I was tucking the girls in bed, McKenna said, "Mom, do you want to know what my sad part of today was?" ...can you believe I didn't ask them during dinner. I always ask during dinner- good, bad, crazy, sad, silly.... And it was so cute that she remembered and had something to tell me! I love that this is becoming our little common dinner tradition. :) ...oh, and in case you were wondering, she was sad bc her nose was runny at school. Poor lady.
It is UEA..or something, whatever that is. But the girls don't have school on Th or Fri. Yeah! It will be so fun to have a nice long weekend! :)
Just some funny things I wanted to write. On Saturday, I had told the girls and Thomas that I loved the more than anything in the world!! Then McKenna says, "more than Bev?" And I said, "Yes. And I'm sure Aunt Bev would say she loved her boys more than anything in the world too!" Thinking I had cleared the air, McKenna looks at me with this stunned face and just says, "Mom, that is SO rude!" lol. She is so funny.
And one more thing I was telling Bev the other day, so I wanted to write it down. Ashley is a very fair child. We have to lather that girl up with sunscreen any time we are going in the sun. Well, she has quite a few freckles. McKenna has always wanted freckles. And now that her younger sister has them and she doesn't, I'm not sure she likes that very much. So, she is always trying to "find" them, and tells me all the time she has a new freckle, even when it's a little owey. It is pretty cute. They are all so silly.
I just love them so much! And am so thankful for them everyday. I have felt so churchy lately. I don't know why, but I love it! And am so blessed!

Supper

Sunday was a good day. I was a little disoriented on Sunday morning. For some reason I had thought church started at 10, so when I got there at 11, I was so late. After some confusion, I was actually just on time! Which was great! However, no snacks nor crayons. Luckily I was substituting primary so I had some papers to color and borrowed crayons from the library. Bev saved us with snacks. ...pay back from the donuts I guess. :P Just kidding. :) Church was great and I enjoyed primary. I am glad I don't have a calling right now, but I do love primary and LOVE the children! Luckily it was McKenna's class, so that was so wonderful to teach her. Our lesson was on the sacrament and how to act during it. And also the Last Supper. It really was a great lesson.
We weren't planning on doing much, Thomas has been a little under the weather, as you can tell from his crazy day on Sat. We are just wearing him thin! (hehe, no pun intended) Isaac's brother in law Shane called and asked me to come to dinner. I wasn't planning on going, but I ended up driving down there by myself... Isaac has been working all weekend. :( I was glad he called and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ETHAN!! The kids had such a great time and dinner was great. The kids decorated pumpkins which were super cute! I will have to get pictures from Roni to post those, bc they were really adorable! I am thankful for the Carter's. I love them. They are so inviting and so in tune with the spirit. Always putting things in eternal perspective. I need to have that outlook as well. I am working on it. Family really is what it's all about. Of course I joke with Isaac that my family is cooler than his, which they are, but he of course disagrees. =) What we both agree on is our children are the absolute best! That is what matters.

I am editing my post right now. I thought of something so funny. Last night I had told the girls to say by to their cousins. Danielle was in Ethan's room and just says "bye cousins." Ethan ran up to her and said "Wait, you can't leave with giving me a hug!" So cute! So, they hugged and then Ethan lifted up his hand to high five Danielle and says "Hit me!" So, Danielle brings up her hand and..... hits him right in the head!! lol! It was so funny. Ethan and I were laughing. She is a pretty funny girl.

Fabulous Saturday

We had a great weekend again. I have noticed that I am getting into the habit of bunching Sat and Sun together, but that's ok. As long as it gets written...but then again, I forget stuff too. I'll keep working on that. Here is our Saturday...
Bev and I went to Super Saturday at my ward. We had all our 8 kids in the provided "day care," but they were wonderful, and a bunch of other kids were in there as all, so it was fun for all. I even brought donuts for all the kids (Bev's idea, my bill... how did that happen? :) jk) Anyway, Beverly and I made these Welcome boards with 4 little Halloween decorations hanging off of them. They are adorable and I am SO proud of myself! Our ward will continue to make 4 seasonal decorations each month to hang on the WELCOME board so that it is interchangeable. Cute huh! I love my ward! We sat with wonderful ladies and even the Relief Society President, whom I LOVE! Her name is Sister Cowley. She was Ashley's Sunbeam teacher and Ashley just loves her! Ashley comes into the Relief Society room and says Hi and gives her a hug every Sunday after church. So sweet! All of the Sunbeams loved Sis and Bro Cowley. ...off the subject, but a couple of Sundays after Sis Cowley was called as the President, she bore her testimony that she loved her Sunbeams SO much, but now she has new Sunbeams, older Sunbeans, and loves us just as much. Isn't she wonderful!? Brought tears to my eyes. Just as our little Sunbeans were lucky to have her, now we are the lucky ones. ...back on subject... Just when we were about to leave, Ashley walks up to her and says "Are you Sister Cowley?" (I guess she looked different not wearing her church clothes) Sister Cowley said "Yes" and they began to talk. Then Sister Cowley told her, "I miss you Ashley." Ashley paused for a moment, and then with the sweetest most tender heart ever, softly says, "I miss you too!" It was PRECIOUS! My heart melted, Sister Cowley started tearing up. It was really so sweet. Every Sunday Bev and I sit in RS with our busy little one year olds. Many of the sisters entertain them and are so great and wonderful in doing so. But we try and preoccupy them as to not disrupt anyone. If we're lucky they will fall asleep. Anyway, while we were all making our crafts on Sat, Thomas had fallen asleep in my arms and Jason was off wandering around, Thomas eventually started to wander, but after a much needed little nap. :) Sister Cowley said the sweetest thing. "With Spirits so big in those teeny bodies, no wonder they wiggle so much!" It was so cute. She is so great. And what a wonderful comment as well. Our precious little babies are so innocent and so pure and full of such big spirits! A perfect gift from our Heavenly Father. I hope that Isaac and I can take these precious gifts that we have been given and teach them every thing they need to make good choices so we can all live together eternally! Which is another gift- Eternal Families!
....ok, sorry, I'm rambling.
Speaking of babies, Congrats to my brother Todd and sister in law Brenda! They had their 2nd baby girl on 10/7- same bday as my brother Will! Riley Quinn! She is perfect! Fresh from our Heavenly Father! ...and as I side note. I always knew it was going to be a GIRL!! (they hadn't found out) All Dedelow baby grandsons have been born in odd years and all granddaughters have been born in even years. And my sis Bonnie is having a boy next Feb ...of 2011! Crazy huh! Isn't that something?! We just think it is so fun! It will be entertaining to see who finally breaks it. But 14 grandbabies and still going strong! :)
Ok, I have to write the funniest story about Bev's boy Hunter. (she could probably tell it better, but I'll try) So, they had a friend over who wore a prosethetic leg. Hunter excitedly ran up to Bev and said "Mom! I have a robot!" Bev, thinking, great, let's go see what he built out of legos or whatever, ran down with Hunter to see his new invention!! As they got to the bottom of the stairs, Hunter pointed to the friend and said "See! A robot!" And then said, "Daddy, why aren't you a robot?" lol!!!! So funny! What a silly 3 year old.
Saturday was a big day for McKenna! She got to go to her first friend birthday party!! She was so excited and had SO much fun! They even had a bounce house! It was for her friend Tandi, who was in her Pre-K class. When I got there, Tandi, McKenna, and Avery were holding hands jumping on the bounce house. I love that she is making great friends! So far, I would be happy if those three were friends for a long time. They are great girls and have great parents!!
Ok.... so Saturday was so busy, but it didn't stop there. Luckily I had dinner in the crock pot, which I never do! But Bev tells me she does that quite a bit, so I thought I would try it and I loved having it ready when I got home! It was perfect, I really need to do that more often! We went home and ate dinner and then Bev talked me into going to Wal Mart with her. I actually do not like taking all 4 kids by myself shopping, Bev on the other hand does it all the time. She is super women. It frustrates me. I'm not sure how I let her talk me into it, but we went! I didn't need anything, but thought it would be fun. I ended up buying the girls these silly bands. My kindergartner was telling me what was "in." I have no idea what they are. Like, fancy bracelets. They are silly but the girls were happy. Spoiled rotten! :) Danielle and Thomas got a new sippy cup. We had a good night, up until about when we were ready to leave. ;)
As we were walking out of Wal Mart, I am pushing Thomas in the buggy, Danielle is throwing a fit in my arms (bc I made her leave Bev), I went to spank her and accidently hit Ashley in the arm. (ok, ok, I know... no need for spanking) So, Ashley started crying, then all of a sudden McKenna started crying. She started talking to me and I in my frustration said, "McKenna I can't hear you right now." And turned away, only to turn right back and notice that there was blood all over her mouth! Oh my goodness! What had happened was, she gave Thomas her silly band Wal Mart bag and they were playing a game, like he would swing and she would act like it hit her or something. He was laughing of course. Anyway, he hit that bag right in her mouth and knocked her tooth out. Only a teeny bit was holding on. Oh, it was so gross. Poor girl was in so much pain. We have been waiting for this tooth to come out, but it wasn't quite ready. We got to the car, Ashley stopped crying thank goodness, Danielle is still screaming, Thomas is poopy, but I managed to take care of McKenna. She wiped all the blood out and we looked at it, it was hanging on by a "thread." All of a sudden she just pulled it out! She was so happy. The tooth actually had a piece of gum on it that she had pulled out, but I wasn't going to mention that. She had lost her tooth and all was well! HELLO TOOTH FAIRY!! :) And again, Yes, the tooth fairy is a girl, I am certain! So, it was a busy day. I couldn't have been more anxious to get home and go to bed. ...but wait...
When we got home I put Thomas to bed and to my surprise, all three girls were still awake and had remembered the promise I had gave them earlier. If Ashley didn't have an accident all day, they would get a book. (I had bought 10 books for $10 from the scholastic book club) Well, SUCCESS! Ashley didn't have an accident. So, we quickly cleaned the family room and I got the books out that are hidden in my room. They each chose one AND we read each of them! Again, spoiled rotten! Then, then we finally went to bed. It was a great and busy day!!

I had to post this video... Danielle and I were playing on the tramp on Sat. I was chasing her and she was laughing so hard. I am the luckiest mom, yesterday I posted one of Thomas, now it's Danielle. They are such happy kids!!

why can't I get the sound to work on this one?? It worked on my previous video. Comments?

Fun at Aunt Bev's

So, I normally work every other Friday, bc Isaac works the "other" one. ...if that makes sense. Well, they always seem to need me to come in the Friday that he is working. So, sweet sweet Bev is watching my kids again. She is so wonderful! They have had a blast! She is the best aunt. She said they were dressing up in Halloween costumes and having so much fun! She took some pictures, so I will have to get those and post later. Danielle and Hunter are looking for grass hoppers and they are all just playing and hanging out, mostly outside. She has the best back yard. :)
McKenna does not like cheese. She hardly eats it and would rather eat anything than macaroni and cheese. Bev sent me this text. 'McKenna just kissed Thomas on the head and then ran away screaming, "EWWW it smells like macaroni!"' lol, hehe. She is so funny about her cheese.
This is what I got to listen to on the way to Bev's house this morning. The girls were at school, Danielle rode with Bev, so all I had was Thomas.

This is what I get to listen to all day every day. He is such a happy boy. I love it! And notice his football in hand. He loves all balls- such an athlete! :)

We have had a great night. Just the normal dinner, books, visiting daddy at work... but tonight, tonight we are having a ....SLUMBER PARTY!! We rented a movie from Redbox, put Thomas in bed and the girls and I are on the bed just snuggling. :)

Nighty night. :)

McDonald's

McKenna and Ashley had a play date at Avery and Holland's house today. So fun! Danielle was really sad when Isaac went to drop them off, so out of the blue, McKenna just tells her. "It's ok Dani, Daddy will buy you McDonald's for lunch." hehe, so cute! SOO, yes Isaac did treat her to MickeyD's. Lucky girl. :)

Our weekend

Our weekend was great. I really do love conference. I love the talks, I love the feeling it gives me, the desire to make me want to be a better person and a better mom. The lessons they teach us. I just really enjoy it! We had all 4 sessions on. I'm not sure the kids, nor Isaac and I got to listen perfectly to each of the talks, but atleast we could feel the spirit in our home I think. They know it's important. We did listen to Prophet Monson together so that was fun. And after all the kids went to bed, I got to listen to the last session by myself. It was really good!
Bryce, an old friend of Isaac's came up on Sunday to hang out with him. It was good to see him. I think it is good for Bryce to hang out with Isaac and us and I think the flip side as well, It is really good for Isaac to see Bryce. They have just always been good friends through thick and thin.
Yesterday, Isaac had a wisdom tooth pulled, while we were waiting for him, the girls, Thomas and I walked a trail behind the doc office at Jeremy Ranch. Ashley was running up the mountain so fast! I couldn't even see her anymore. She is such a little athlete! One time, when I was younger, I remember Bev and I running up a mountain trail so far ahead of our family that Will had to come and get us. Ashley reminded me of myself yesterday. It was fun. Anyway, it was beautiful up there and the kids were all about pictures, so I took advantage!!
Beautiful huh!! and here is one more.
So cute! Ok, now this one is silly. Four kids four years and under when Thomas was born, we have always taken baths together. It's easier, it's all I could handle. McKenna and Ashley and even Danielle can and will take showers by themselves now, but here is a silly picture of them last night. Again, I said I had to take advantage. Yesterday was a happy picture day!
They are just so cute and so happy!
Just some quick funny things the kids say. Danielle lately has been our funny child. She always calls us Boom Boom or cha cha. Just something Silly. Yesterday Danielle was wearing her rain boots, so Isaac asked, "can I call you boots?" Then Danielle said, "No, can I call you Dora?" She is so funny. She's 2, how does she think of this!? Then today Isaac called her a "crazy lady." She told him he was the "crazy lady." So Isaac told her, "I'm not a lady, I'm a boy." And she said, "You're a cha cha!" She is so silly. She just always says the most random funny things. Ashley is our singing girl for sure, always making up songs. Uncle Matt calls her the freestyler. It's entertaining. McKenna loves to play games, especially at dinner. They are so fun. OH, and Thomas we think has finally decided he wants to walk. He is doing it more and more each day. Yay! I love them so much, every day is so fun and something new!

Provo drive

We went to Provo tonight. I don't normally drive when Isaac is in the car. But I did tonight. As we were barely even out of town, Ashley asks me. "Mom, do you even know how to drive!?" haha, thanks, lots of love!! ;) Then when we got down there, Isaac said I had made him sick, which I totally did not!! He is just not used to sitting in the passenger seat AND likes to make fun of me. Then McKenna says, "that is so rude." And I'm all, thanks McKenna, no kidding that was rude. And she says, "No, rude that you made him sick, you made me sick too!" AHHH!! Can you believe them! Where is the love!
Danielle just kept saying the whole drive... "what the heck" So funny. It was an entertaining car ride. :)
