New Year's Eve

We didn't do much tonight.
Isaac is working all weekend. :( But the munchkins and I are hanging out. That is just the best thing to do anyway! But I had an entertaining day. :)
I was talking to Kellie on the phone. Oh... I forgot to tell you. Yesterday, Thomas got one of those blender chopping things out of our cabinet and just whacked McKenna in the head. :( Poor girl. Head injuries are bloody! We thought that she might need stitches so we took her to the ER. Doc said she could use a couple stitches, but it would heal on it's own fine too. It was in her hair so no one would ever see it and it was small enough to not put her through the drama. The nurse agreed as well, so she sure was lucky! No stitches. But we went and got frosty's afterwards anyway. Poor lady needed a pick me up! :)
So, I was talking to Kellie about that and also about Joel's dad, he just had a heart attack. :( The Staley's are all in our prayers! Oh, and then to top off Kellie's year. Blake broke a leg, Mitchell broke his arm, so where is the 3rd, you ask... Kellie broker her toe! Crazy huh! So, I get off the phone and McKenna says, "tell me EVERYTHING!" I tell her just about everything and she says, "now what was the 'Uhhh' (gasp) and 'Oh my gosh' about?" Love it! So funny. We called Kellie back to tell her and she said it was just like me. :) Too cute!
Ashley took a shower tonight. I have to peek in to help with hair, and she was just shaking her little tooshy. So cute!
So, for our New Year's Eve party, we rented a RedBox, put Thomas to bed, and watched Ramona and Beezus and ate ice cream. Girls stayed up way past bed time, but it was a lot of fun. Who better to spend the night with. :) (well, Ok, Isaac would have been nice. Next year!) :)

This should have been the blizzard of 2010

AND THIS IS WHAT WE DID!!! We went out to build a snowman and it was SO deep that it was too difficult to do, so we built a little mountain instead and had the girls sled down it. So fun! Dog heaven... they LOVE this. Angel anytime you say cheese, she looks at the camera. It is really cool. Samson, not a chance. :)
I LOVE THIS PICTURE!

I was supposed to work today, but the roads were so bad they told us not to come in! Yay! :)

Zachary's bday

We celebarted Zachary's bday on Sunday. We were all too tired to have a big dinner, so we just had leftovers and then went over the Visentin's house for cake and ice cream. :)

The Birthday Boy

What a cutie. Ok, Ok, he can be the birthday boy too!

The Carter's came up for cake. So good for Ethan to see Zachary! Together at last! :)

Taking pics with Dad.

Playing with Daddy. :)

Hanging out with Grandpa. We tried the all Garner pic, but Thomas wasn't so into it. Still turned out perty cute! Cute of Nathan and McKenna with Grandpa! :)

CHRISTMAS!!

I always love Christmas. I always did as a kid, as a young adult. And now that I am a mom, it is so special and so fun! Funny how priorities change isn't it. Isaac and I don't do much for each other, but it doesn't matter anyway. I love, LOVE watching their joys on Christmas morning.

WE love them so much!

Oh, and after presents, McKenna sang Happy Birthday to Jesus. It was so precious! Melted my heart!

This is our annual picture in the hall, before they go out and actually "see" everything Santa brought for them. :) I love how it turns out. it's always "perfect!"

When I was growing up, we had a long hallway in our home. The door was always closed Christmas morning. We would get up early- all eight of us kids, and pile our pillows and blankets in the hall and just wait for Dad and Mom to say it was ok to come in. It is one of my most favorite memories of Christmas morning.
Surprise! Santa came! Checking it out!

Thank you Grandpa! Grandpa loved this picture with the kiddos and how Thomas was just staring at him. :)

My dad and me. Such a great picture! We'll see you at Sylvia's for breakfast!

My babe and me. Had to take our Christmas morning picture, before he was off to work for the next 4 hours.

Breakfast at Sylvia's

Dad and Bill. BFF! (hehe) But really, we love how they are such great friends.

My beauties.

Thanks Sylvia!

My handsome boy Thomas! Hunter got a cool horse to ride and Thomas just loved it! AND, of course a picture of Thomas and a ball. He is going to be such an athlete! :)

Such cuties!

Uncle Matt came over for breakfast! We missed him on Christmas Eve but were so glad to see him Christmas morning! I love this picture of him and Thomas! So cute. And you would think Thomas is taking off the hat, but he's not. I actually got two pictures with it on.

Then back at the house. :)

Thank you for sending our presents Nana!

Nana sent us gifts about two weeks before Christmas. I thought I was being good by holding onto them and waiting until Christmas, but come to find out, Nana (Mom) was a little upset I hadn't given them to them yet. Oops.

They had so much fun making their necklaces from Nana before everyone came over for dinner. Luckily Ryan and Brianne got there early to help. 2 extra set of hands was so helpful! I thought it was cute how Thomas was just staring at Uncle Ryan. :)

Dinner

Thomas was sleeping when everyone arrived for dinner. He woke up...and WHO did he want?! Ah hem! Uncle Travis. So precious though. He just layed there comfy cozy. :)

Aren't we cute?! And just to clarify... My house!

Love my brother and sister!

Love my sisters too!

Thanks Aunt Bev!

Nathan saying thanks to Uncle Ike. The first picture he gave him a big hug! So cute!

The kiddos playing Pop the Pig after dinner. So fun!!

Picture with Dad!

So, this was funny. Bev wanted to take a picture with Dad. So, they leaned in to take it, Ryan and I weren't so pleased! So... next picture....

Ryan and I leaned in for our OWN picture, and it actually turned out super cute! :)

It's getting late. Now I get snuggles!! :)

Saying Good Bye to Aunt Brianne and Uncle Ryan. I love her face in this. His too. :)
