Fun Friday

Ashley and Danielle were invited to a Fancy Nancy Valentine's party. Ashlyn is one of Ashley's very best friends, and is in Ashley's class, and her little sister, Addison is Danielle's age. They were to wear their best dress! Soo adorable! Thomas and I spent the two hours at Bev's house. I meant to go grocery shopping, but the invite for food and cookies was too good. :)

After we picked up the girls we ran to Walmart and dozen roses were on sale for $1! Are you kidding me?! Crazy and awesome! I spoiled the little ones and we got ourself some roses. Happy late Valentine's Day to us! :) Then it was time to pick up McKenna!!

Later that night, I let the kids have a sleepover. Now having a sleepover is not really uncommon at our home on the weekends, but I have never let then sleep in the family room with the big tv!! They were soo excited! They watched Dumbo, while I finished making orange jam upstairs. It's actually pretty easy! I love making jam. I have been meaning to make it for weeks since oranges have been on sale, but one time we ate them all, and another we had no sugar. So I was so glad to finally be able too! It's not marmalade either. My mom never used the orange peel to make orange jam. She always said, "who likes the taste of the peel anyway?" Touché! :) My jam is yummy!
